They had a dog called Max a cat called Rocky and 3 chickens.they had a really big property and next door they had horses(but the people in the house that we were staying in didn’t own the horses),I fed the horses with apples.
We went to the museum,chocolate factory,wineries,aquarium,art gallery,mister ds,climbed Te Mata peak, movies and we walked Max.
in the holidays for the first week I went to halo beach house. in the second
week of the holidays I got some money from my gran and grandad
and bought a robo clown fish a robo angler fish and a robo turtle.
the angler fish didn’t need bateries for a long time. if you bump the angler fish
it moves with its light. I had
last Saturday my cousin’s dog came over to stay the night because my
cousin’s were going away. the dog’s name is Betty. Betty is 8 the
same as me because I was born in 2007 and so was Betty.
Betty is half fox terrier half jack russell.
This week is Māori Language week. Porohita, Rua, Rima and Whitu groups are learning te reo Māori and making resources to teach other children te reo Māori.

Today the Ologists were learning about rock recipes.
Our class loves learning about volcanoes, caves, fossils, earthquakes and earth science. We wanted to make our own rocks. We also had to think about what māori words we know for rocks, volcanoes and caves. It was quite hard!

Timmy wants to know why Waitangi is called Wai Tangi, like what wai means.
Sophia knows lava in māori. It’s tahepuia! She looked it up on the Māori Dictionary which is linked on our blog.
